Quotes & ordering
Tell us about the event and we’ll spec it. Size of the site, how many people need to talk, whether they’re indoors or spread across a campus, and whether you need data as well as voice — those four answers decide the kit. Call, email, or send the quote form and we’ll come back with a specific recommendation, not a catalog dump.
Most quotes go out within an hour during business hours (Mon–Fri, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM PT), and always within 24 hours. After-hours requests are returned first thing the next morning. Emergency same-day jobs can be turned around in minutes — call rather than email.
Your dates go on our calendar and the equipment is reserved to your order — it isn’t available to anyone else. Before delivery or shipment we inspect every unit and fully charge every battery, so the gear arrives ready to use.
For 1–25 units, 48 hours is plenty. For large deployments (100+ radios) we recommend two weeks so we can guarantee fleet availability around peak convention and festival weeks, when the whole city’s rental inventory books out at once.
Yes. Weekend rates for a single short event, weekly rates for multi-day shows, and long-term rates on 30+ day rentals. Construction sites and extended productions should ask about ongoing programs.
Contact us before your rental period ends and we’ll extend it. Billing continues until the equipment is back with us — for shipped orders, the carrier’s scan date sets the end of the rental.

Equipment

Cost and dispatch. Press one button and you’re connected to one person or a hundred at once — no dialing, no ringing, no waiting for someone to answer. Talk time is unlimited and there’s no per-minute cost, so a large crew stays connected for a flat rate instead of a phone bill per person.
Radios also keep working when the cell network is congested — which is exactly what happens in a packed venue.
A handset that looks and works like a radio but rides the LTE network instead of a local frequency. That means no line-of-sight limits and no range ceiling — a crew in Las Vegas can talk to a crew in another state on the same push-to-talk button. Good for scattered teams and multi-site jobs.
Commercial portable radios run roughly $225 to $900 each to purchase, depending on quality, durability, battery type, frequency and features. For an event, a season, or a project, renting avoids that capital outlay — plus the licensing, programming, maintenance and storage that come with owning a fleet.
Turn the radio off before you put it in the charger, and let the battery run down before recharging where practical. A supplied 6-way bank charger takes a battery to roughly 90–100% in one to two hours. Every order ships with fully charged spare batteries so you’re never waiting on a charger mid-shift.
Standard kits include batteries, chargers and belt clips. Surveillance earpieces, headsets, speaker mics and heavy-duty audio for loud sites are available — tell us the environment and we’ll match the audio gear to it.

Licensing
Yes — all business frequencies require an FCC license. You have two options: use our licensed frequencies, which come pre-programmed on the rental, or give us your own license details and we’ll program the radios to your frequencies before they ship.
Yes. Send a codeplug, a channel list, or one of your existing radios and we’ll match it. Per-radio aliases are available too, so “Stage 2” shows up on the display instead of a serial number.
Usually, yes — as long as we know the frequencies, tones and mode (analog or digital) your fleet uses. Send us those details with your order and we’ll set the rentals to match so both fleets are on the same channels.

Range & coverage
On-site portables typically cover one to two miles. Wide-area radios can reach around 30 miles, but they need line of sight — hills and buildings cut that number down fast. If your site is larger than a couple of miles or heavily built up, plan on a repeater or cellular hybrid radios instead.
UHF for indoors. UHF signals penetrate buildings, walls and steel far better, which is why convention centers, hotels and multi-level venues run UHF.
VHF is for wide-open outdoor areas with clear line of sight — open sites, fields, rural work. Indoors it struggles.
A repeater is installed at a fixed indoor location to extend coverage — it receives your radios’ signal and re-transmits it at higher power. It’s the fix for dead spots in multi-story buildings, basements, parking structures and sprawling venues. If your crew loses each other between floors, you need one.
In a single hall, generally yes. Across multiple halls, back-of-house and upper levels, coverage depends on the building. Tell us the venue when you request a quote — we work the Las Vegas rooms constantly and will tell you honestly whether you need a repeater.

Delivery & returns
Yes — local delivery and pickup anywhere in Clark County, and delivery may be included case by case depending on the order. Just ask when you request your quote. You can also pick up at 4820 University Ave. See the full service areas
We ship anywhere in the USA via FedEx or UPS. Shipping is quoted per job — it isn’t free — but it’s usually far less than what a venue charges to rent the same equipment on site.
Local orders: we pick up, or you drop off during business hours. Shipped orders: pack everything in the case it arrived in and hand it to the carrier with the prepaid return label. Billing runs until the carrier scans the package or we collect it.
Normal wear is expected and isn’t charged. Lost, stolen or damaged-beyond-repair units are billed at replacement cost, which is listed on your rental agreement so there are no surprises. Count the gear back into the case at strike — that’s where most missing radios turn up.

Support
Every order includes 10% spares at no charge, so a dead unit is swapped from your own case immediately. Need more than that? We’ll bring replacements inside the valley, 24/7 while your event is live.
There isn’t much to learn — power, volume, channel, push to talk. We walk your leads through it at delivery and label the channels so nobody has to guess. For large deployments we’ll do a short briefing with the whole crew.
